Joshua Miller is an Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Vocal Studies at Concord University where he conducts all of the choral ensembles, teaches applied voice and courses in conducting and music education. Miller has conducted staged productions for the Boston Opera Collaborative, Opera Columbus, M.I.T. and the College Light Opera Company. He has also prepared choruses and coached singers for the Harvard University Lowell House Opera. During the Winter of 2008 Miller conducted his first complete opera, Mozart's Don Giovanni with the Boston Opera Collaborative and recently conducted Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore with the MIT G&S Players.
Miller obtained a Master of Music Degree in Conducting from The Ohio State University and has participated in the Eastman School of Music Conducting Institute. He has been a conducting fellow at the Yale University Norfolk Chamber Music Festival and recently participated in the International Conductor's Institute in Bacau, Romania.
